Polka Dot Pumpkins

in Decor, Halloween, holidays, pumpkin, Tutorial on 13/09/13

Here is a super easy and cute little Halloween Decor idea. I love these Polka Dot Pumpkins!

Supplies:

  • Pumpkins
  • Black adhesive vinyl
  • Scissors

I bought these white ceramic pumpkins and wanted to be able to use them for Halloween and Fall. I decided to customize them for Halloween…but in a temporary way so I would have a blank canvas again for my Fall/Thanksgiving decor. I went into my stash and found some black adhesive backed vinyl. You can find this at most craft stores!

I just cut off a little section to cut the circles by hand.

Now grab those scissors and cut some circles! If you have a craft cutting machine like a silhouette you can cut them out with that too. I have one, but honestly it was just easier doing it by hand!

Peel off the back and start sticking them on your pumpkin.

You have to press them down to get them to stay. And there you have it. Easy polka dot pumpkins that are super cute and also are easy to remove the polka dots for a different fall look. Love the versatility with the vinyl. 🙂
My Halloween Vignette is coming up soon. Also…forgot to mention, the black bird is a free printable you can find here. 🙂  Did you miss my easy DIY Halloween wreath? Go here to check it out!
