Watermelon Lime Slush

in Desserts, Recipes on 23/06/14

This Watermelon Lime Slush is one of the yummiest things I have been enjoying lately. It must be the warm summertime weather and carefree days that make us crave these refreshing drinks. Yummy drinks are one of my favorite things about summer. Who are we kidding, I would probably love this any time of the year! This drink is so refreshing and healthy which is always a plus! I love that it is Whole 30 compliant and adds a healthy, natural treat to my day. This is so easy to make and hits the spot!

There are different ways to make this, but I found the best is to freeze some cut up watermelon. Take them out and add them to your blender with some un-frozen watermelon and the juice from 1 lime (for every 2 servings. If you make enough for several servings you’ll want to add in more lime. I make a 2 person serving size in my single size blender cup.) Depending on how much extra liquid you need, you can add some water. Blend it until it is smooth and you’ll have a delicious Watermelon Lime Slush ready to enjoy!

This looks so yummy and refreshing for summer. I always have leftover watermelon – my kids never manage to eat the second half. I can’t wait to try this 🙂

This looks so refreshing, watermelon and lime are two flavors I haven’t had together and it sounds so good. When you make it into a slush, that is just icing on the cake!
