Easy Fall Centerpiece using Burlap

in burlap, fall decor, Tutorial on 11/10/13

Check out this super easy Fall Centerpiece using burlap.
Supplies:
  • Vase
  • Fall Florals
  • burlap strip cut about 2-3″
  • Lace (I used 2″ scallop from Hobby Lobby)
  • Glue gun & sticks
First cut your burlap into desired width strip, I did about 3″ and wrapped it around the vase to cut the length so it would wrap around the vase completely.
Take your hot glue gun and glue burlap around vase.
Take your lace and wrap it around the the burlap.
Use a dab of hot glue to secure the lace over the burlap.
Next your ready to make and adhere your burlap flower. Here is a little video tutorial showing how I made the burlap flower. If you don’t want to do this kind, you can use any burlap rosette or flower style of your choice…I just love the shabby look and dimension of this one.

When you’re done making your flower, go ahead and glue it on!

Next add your fall florals and you have a lovely fall centerpiece!

That is adorable Marie! And I absolutely love the video to show how to do those flowers. I can’t tell you how many times I have tried to make one using pictures… it is just not possible. I am going to give this a try, fingers crossed I can get it to work this time 🙂
    P.S. Congratulations on your baby
