Today’s design feature is all about soft neutrals. While I love a good bright theme on my mahjong table, sometimes you just want something a little more understated yet beautiful. Today I am sharing some beautiful mats and racks to pair with our featured tile “Laken” by the Mahjong Row and Co. This will definitely hit the mark for a beautiful soft neutral mahjong tablescape.

Now onto the pretty stuff…The Laken tile set by Mahjong Row and Co. It is one of my most favorite tiles and is at the top of my wish list.

They are all soft beautiful naturals with semi-traditional fronts. This company also offers some coordinating mats and racks and they are all beautiful.
Our first pairing featuring Laken is with a mat from Mahjong Row & co. called Spring awakening in porcelain blue. I also love these scalloped walnut wood racks from Haus of Tiles, the porcelain blue rack and pusher from Mahjong and Row, or the acrylic racks from My fair mahjong.
The second beautiful pairing I’ve put together is probably one of my most favorite mats ever. The subtle neutral with the florals and hints of blue are to die for! This is the Ivy Reverie Mat by Mahjong Row and co. and I am using the same rack ideas as listed above.
Our 3rd possible pairing for the Soft Neutral Mahjong Tablescape is another favorite mat by the White Lotus by Mahj Tile Haus. I recently acquired this mat and it is stunning!
This mat below is the Whispering Sparrow mat by It’s a Mahjong Life. I also own this mat and in person it really is lovely.
Another beautiful mat is the Caned Trompe L’oeil BLONDE mat by Tigre De Tartan.
