Disney Inspired Patriotic Shirt

I thought I would walk you through the process I used so you can create your own. (This post contains affiliate links)

Here are the supplies you’ll need to create your own Disney Inspired Patriotic Shirt:

• t-shirt
• 2 styles of fabric (I used stars and stripes)
• Silhouette cutting machine
• Silhouette Fabric Interfacing
• fabric blade
• cutting mat
• Opt: Glam ribbon for Minnie bow
• iron
• scissors

Step 1: Cut out sections of your fabric and interfacing and iron the fabric to the interfacing. I knew I would be cutting two small circles from the top half, and the large circle on the bottom half.

Step 2: Insert on cutting mat and add in fabric blade to machine.

Step 4: Design circles in software.

Step 5: Cut out circles.

Step 6: Remove backing from circles.

Step 7: Place circles on the t-shirt and iron them in place.

Step 8: This step is optional, but you can use a sewing machine to add a stitch around the circles to add reinforcement.

Step 9: If you want a mickey shirt you can leave the bow off, but to embellish it for those Minnie Mouse fans, you’ll want to sew on a bow.
