Easy Halloween Treat Bags

in DIY/Crafts, Halloween on 26/10/15

Hi friends, can you believe it is already the end of October? Fall seems to be flying by and I know winter is slowly creeping up on us. I don’t think I am quite ready for it, but living in Wyoming it will soon be here so I can’t live in denial much longer! We have had such a beautiful fall I really can’t complain. Today I’ve got a cute and super simple Halloween Treat Bag idea.
These diy treat bags are so cute and you can assemble them in minutes! Such a cute idea.
These little gift bags are so fun and festive and only take a few minutes to put together.

Supplies:

  • orange and purple paint
  • Round paint dauber
  • Various scrapbook papers
  • brown paper bags
  • washi tape
  • scissors
  • stapler
  • mini clothespins (I used modpodge to apply glitter to take them up a notch) 🙂

To start you’ll use a paint dauber to create polka dots on the brown paper bags. Let the paint dry completely.

When your bags are dry, you’ll adorn them with washi tape.

Next you’ll fill them with goodies and fold down the tops. Cut a section of scrapbook paper to fold over and secure with staples. Cut various papers into pennants and attach with a clothes pin.
